Transparent comparisons

How Kiomora compares journal and life-tracking apps

We separate documented facts from editorial judgment, link to the source behind material product claims, and show when the information was checked.

Methodology last reviewed: July 28, 2026

Official documentation first

Feature, platform, export, and price claims begin with the provider’s own product, pricing, help, policy, or store documentation.

Facts and judgment stay separate

A documented feature can be stated as a fact. “Best for” is an editorial fit judgment and is labeled as such.

No invented testing

Documentation research is not presented as hands-on testing. We do not claim to have paid for or performance-tested every plan.

Dated and correctable

Every research table shows a checked date. Providers can change their offer, and readers can report a correction to [email protected].

The five checks

What we compare

01

Capture fit

Whether the documented input methods match the reader’s normal day: writing, voice, photos, structured fields, or a mixture.

02

Review fit

Whether the product documents search, summaries, reports, prompts, or other ways to revisit older entries.

03

Portability

Whether an official page clearly documents an export path and format. “Not found” is not treated as proof that export is impossible.

04

Platform fit

Which current operating systems or web surfaces the provider officially lists.

05

Price clarity

The public USD price visible on an official provider page on the checked date, with regional variation noted where appropriate.

Limits readers should know

  • Regional prices, taxes, experiments, promotions, and store offers can differ.
  • A missing public detail is recorded carefully; it is not proof that a feature does not exist.
  • Privacy and security require reading the provider’s current policy, not relying on a comparison table alone.
  • Kiomora is included in its own research and therefore has a commercial interest that readers should consider.
